The Christian County Sheriff's Department is investigating recent vandalism at Rosedale Cemetery, in Pembroke. Cemetery caretaker Jason Hancock told the News Edge at least twenty-five headstones were knocked off the bases, with some scratched and chipped, along with some of the vases broken.
He says the damage occurred between late Sunday afternoon and early Monday morning. Hancock says he is still trying to determine the amount of damage that was done. He adds anyone with information about the crime can call the Christian County Sheriff's Department.
