Teenager Injured In Monday Accident

One person was transported following a two vehicle accident Monday evening on Academy Drive. Hopkinsville Police say 16-year old Sheldon King, of Hopkinsville, was eastbound, turning into a driveway, when his vehicle was struck in the rear by a vehicle driven by 17-year old Joseph Whitfill, of Hopkinsville. Whitfill was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center following the accident, which occurred around 5:30pm Monday.
