Three people face charges following their arrest Monday morning in Lyon County by Kentucky State Police. According to the report, around 9:00am, State Police, along with the Department of Probation and Parole, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department, and the Eddyville Police Department conducted a search at 303 Terrace Place in Eddyville, KY.
As a result of the search, 22 rifles and shotguns, along with 4 pistols, were located inside the residence. One of the pistols had been reported stolen from Indiana. Several packets of methamphetamine were also located, along with marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
State Police arrested 50-year old Bobby Murphy, of Eddyville, 40-year old Michael Melton, of Benton, and 22-year old Taylor Haberlock, of Princeton. Murphy was arrested on 22-counts of Possession of a Fire Arm by a Convicted Felon, 4-counts of Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, Possession of Methamphetamine, Receiving a Stolen Firearm, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and 2-counts of Illegal Possession of a Legend Drug.
Melton was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine. Haberlock was charged with Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon and Possession of Marijuana. All were taken and lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
