Lions Club Holds District Convention

Some 150 Lions Club members from around Kentucky and the surround district descended on the lakes region this weekend for their annual district meeting. Cadiz-Trigg County Tourism Commissioner Bill Stevens says he was happy to gather information for the prospective visitors.

He says among the visitors were several out of towners.

Though the meeting was held at the Lake Barkley State Resort Park and the Convention Center, Stevens says members did venture into Cadiz.

Stevens adds it is word of mouth that continues to garner visitors to Cadiz and Trigg County and events like this bring visitors to experience the area and share the good times with their friends.
