State Police say a fire that destroyed a Greenville home in early February appears to have been intentional. State Police, along with the State Fire Marshal’s Office, is currently investigating the fire that destroyed the residence at 3721 State Route 176. It was just after 8:00pm on Saturday, February, 9, when State Police were contacted in reference to the fire. No one was home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.
Investigators have determined that the fire was an intentional act perpetrated by an unknown person or persons at this time. State Police say the investigation is continuing and anyone with information is urged to call 270-676-3313. Callers may remain anonymous.
