Schools across western Kentucky are looking at their options if federal funding cuts are implemented Friday. If Congress doesn't take action to prevent the cuts scheduled to take place on March 1, nearly 3-billion dollars in education funding would be cut.
School administrators across the region discussed their options last week when they met to begin drafting tentative budgets for the next school year. Superintendents say funding cuts could mean bigger classes, fewer programs to aid students and fewer employees.
