2013 Heart Walk Raises 44-thousand Dollars

The Christian County Chapter of the American Heart Association will have more than 40,000-dollars to use in the fight against heart disease and stroke. American Heart Association representative Dennis Hamm says he was pleased with this year's Heart Walk that was held Saturday morning at Bradford Square Mall.

Hamm says the annual fundraiser is more than just that.

The top fundraising team for the event was Jennie Stuart Medical Center. Hoptown This Morning co-host Drew Wilson served as the Master of Ceremonies, with Oldies Radio host Kim Allen broadcasting from the event.
