Nashville Blue Tones Bring Heat Wave To Hoptown

Approximately 300 people were entertained in Hopkinsville last night by the Nashville Blue Tones. It was billed as a heat wave, with the audience really getting into the act, singing along, swaying to the music, and even dancing. The Valentine's day concert was held at the Performing Arts Center at the Christian County Middle School. The event was sponsored by the Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Department and co-sponsored by Oldies Radio, WHVO and WKDZ.

The seven men and two women in the band presented a concert centered on the music of Motown and Soul featuring the hits of such artists as Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder, The Four Tops and the Supremes.
