Valentine's Day Bears Help Honor Lost Teen

One local group is helping a family honor a lost loved one in the form of teddy bears for children. The Challenge House organization is helping Don and Beverly Atwood remember their granddaughter Elizabeth Atwood by giving away teddy bears. Lori Kirkman with Challenge House Three says the Atwood's chose to give out bears because Elizabeth loved them so much.

Kirkman says the teddy bears also come with a note from the Atwood's about why they give these bears out and who they are honoring.

16-year old Elizabeth Atwood was killed in an accident on the Western Kentucky Parkway on Valentines Day 2010.
