A loud music complaint resulted in the arrest of five Hopkinsville men late last week on drug charges. According to information released Thursday by the Hopkinsville Police Department, when officers arrived last Friday night at the scene of the complaint, at 905 Younglove Street, they detected a strong odor of marijuana.
After police announced their presence, officers say they saw the five men going about the house, apparently attempting to hide something inside. Police entered the residence and obtained consent to search.
The ensuing investigation led to the arrest of 31-year old Eric Greene, 27-year old William Palmer, 20-year old Kenron Prince, 28-year old Antonio Artis, and 26-year old Veairrus Leavell. The men were all arrested on drug trafficking and drug paraphernalia charges and lodged in the Christian County Jail.
