Two people were injured in a five vehicle, chain reaction accident that occurred Tuesday on East 9th Street, in Hopkinsville. Police say 53-year old Tyrone Dossett, of Hopkinsville, failed to stop with the traffic flow, and then struck a vehicle driven by 20-year old Tadeisha Curry, of Hopkinsville in the rear.
The impact of the collision knocked Curry's vehicle into the rear of a vehicle driven by 29-year old Heather Butler, with that vehicle then pushed into the rear of a vehicle driven by 56-year old Roger Puckett, of Cadiz.
Puckett's vehicle then struck the rear of a vehicle driven by 55-year old John Campbell, of Hopkinsville. Puckett was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, while Campbell went to the hospital by private vehicle. The accident occurred just after 3:00pm Tuesday.
