State Police say six people died in six separate crashes on Kentucky highways last week. Single fatality motor vehicle crashes occurred in Clark, Floyd, Madison, Pike and Rockcastle County. The victims in Floyd, Madison and Rockcastle counties were not wearing seat belts. The crash in Floyd County involved the suspected use of alcohol. One pedestrian was killed in Carroll County.
Through February 10, 52 people have been killed during 2013. This is 23 less than reported for the same time period in 2012.
