State transportation officials say a contractor for the Hopkinsville Water Environment Authority plans a series of nighttime closures on Country Club Lane beginning Monday night. Country Club Lane will be closed at night between Canton Pike and Cox Mill Road for a sewer replacement project.
The roadway will be closed at this site from about 8:00pm to approximately 6:00am each night for about 5 nights. Motorists need to be aware of this planned nighttime closure and make advance alternate travel plans. The contractor will maintain local access for homeowners on each side of the closure point.
Approximately 9,000 vehicles travel this section of Country Club Lane on an average day.
