Kentucky State Police say four people died in four separate crashes on the state's roadways last week. Two single-fatality crashes occurred in Floyd County. One of the victims was not wearing a seat belt. One single-fatality crash occurred in Carlisle County and Rowan County. Neither victim was wearing a seat belt. The crash in Carlisle County involved the suspected use of alcohol.
As of February 3, 45 people have been killed on Kentucky highways during 2013. This is 17 less than reported for the same time period in 2012.
