Police Investigate Saturday Night Robbery

Hopkinsville Police are investigating a Saturday night robbery on Virginia Street. According to the report, Tony Adams, of Cerulean, told police a man approached her vehicle at the Cottonwood Apartments, and asked her for a dollar for gasoline. When Adams went to get the money from an envelope, the suspect struck her in the back of the head and fled the scene with the envelope of cash. The incident occurred around 8:30pm Saturday.
