Pennyrile Electric Power Restoration Almost Complete

Pennyrile Electric is expected to have power restored later this morning to the majority of those affected by Wednesday morning severe weather.
Spokesman Brent Gilkey says power was restored to several customers late last night thanks to extra efforts.

Gilkey says a few customers in two areas remain without power this morning, but most should be back on later today unless there was damage to the home.

Gilkey also saluted the support staff at Pennyrile for their extra efforts Wednesday.
