Wind Advisory Tonight and Tomorrow

A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 3 pm Wednesday. Gusty southerly winds will develop across the Pennyrile region. In the wake of a frontal passage tonight winds will continue to be gusty out of the west to northwest through mid afternoon Wednesday. Winds are expected in the 25 to 35 mph range with gusts up to 40-45 mph.

Winds of this magnitude may produce some minor damage, including blowing down small tree limbs and maybe blowing off a few shingles. Driving will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. In addition, any unsecured items outdoors may be blown around by the strong winds. Boating on area lakes is strongly discouraged.
