One Injured In I-24 Accident Monday Morning

Wet road conditions appear to have been a factor in a single vehicle accident Monday morning that injured a Clarksville woman. Kentucky State Police say 26-year old Tara Baird was westbound, near the 92-mile marker, about three miles east of the Pembroke-Oak Grove exit, when her vehicle hydroplaned.

Baird lost control of the vehicle, exited the right shoulder, struck an embankment, and overturned several times. Baird was transported to Blanchfield Army Community Hospital following the accident, which occurred around 7:54am.
