Oak Grove Fire Chief Greg Bequette says the woman injured early Thursday morning in a house fire suffered minor burns and smoke inhalation. Although, he could not confirm the name of the woman, he says she was the resident of 1138 Patton Place off State Line Road. He adds she was transported from the scene immediately after emergency personnel arrived.
Bequette says he and 10 men responded to the fire call just three minutes after midnight and had to call Fort Campbell Fire Department for aid. Firefighters were on the scene for about three hours. The house was completely destroyed by the fire, with one of the occupants of the home taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
