McConnell Talks About New Beginnings

With President Obama's second term now officially underway, U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell says it is time for Washington to come together and address the problems facing the nation, in a period of new beginnings. McConnell encouraged the President to work with Republicans to achieve legislative progress.

McConnell went on to say the issue to address immediately was that of the nation's deficit.

McConnell made the comments Tuesday on the floor of the United States Senate.
