Christian County District 1 Constable Seat Filled

Christian County Judge Executive Steve Tribble is appointing a new District 1 Constable, after Thomas Grant resigned following his election to the Hopkinsville City Council Ward 1 Seat. Tribble says following Grant's resignation, Kenneth Bates expressed his interest in the job.



   

Tribble says Bates will served until December 31, 2014.




   

State law says Tribble, as Judge Executive, is in charge of appointing constables in cases of vacancies.
