Dr. Chester Crump will be the featured speaker for the 18th Annual Trigg County Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, celebration Monday, at Bloomfield Baptist Church. Dr. Crump, who is a Trigg County High School graduate, will speak during the service, that will begin at 11:30am, following the annual march from Trigg County Schools.
Genesis Express member George Radford will give the "Why We March" speech in the parking lot of the school family resource center parking lot next to Trigg County Primary and Intermediate Schools.Following Radford's remarks, the annual march will take place along Main Street to the Trigg County Justice Center, then along Jefferson Street to the Church. As a part of the pre-march activities, there will be a traveling trophy competition for the church with the most members wearing church t-shirts.
