Senator Whitney Westerfield Committee Assignments

Third District State Senator Whitney Westerfield will serve as Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, along with a number of other key committee assignments.
The assignments were determined during December Senate Caucus meetings and confirmed last week during the opening session of the Kentucky General Assembly. Senator Westerfield was appointed Vice-Chair of the Veterans, Military Affairs and Public Protection Cabinet. He also serves on the Agriculture, Natural Resources and Energy, Transportation, and Tobacco Settlement Agreement Fund Oversight Committees. And Westerfield will serve on the Capital Planning Advisory Board.
