Hopkinsville Man Arrested For March Robbery



A Hopkinsville man wanted in connection with a robbery back in March has been returned to face the charges against him. According to information from the Christian County Sheriff's Department, 42-year old Antonio Hamilton was returned to Hopkinsville, after deputies went to Columbus, Georgia, and served him with a warrant charging him with 1st Degree Robbery and Fleeing or Evading.

Hamilton is accused of taking merchandise from the Dollar General Store, on West 7th Street, back on March 6th, and then nearly hitting a store clerk as he fled the scene. Hamilton was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
