Soggy Weather Conditions Ahead

Soggy weather conditions could impact the area over the next few days. According to Staff Meteorologist David Bryant, one to two inches of rainfall will be possible Thursday and Thursday night. The rain may result in minor flooding of low land and poor drainage areas and where the ground has become saturated.

There will be another chance of thunderstorms and heavy rainfall Saturday through Saturday night. Severe weather cannot be ruled out with that system, ahead of a cold front moving across the region. Again, with saturated ground conditions expected, some flooding issues will be possible as well.
