A father and his four young children died early Wednesday in a house fire in Pike County. According to the Lexington Herald Leader, based on conversations with relatives, Pike County Coroner Russell Roberts tentatively identified the five victims as Billy Wilfong and his children: 5-year old Dakota, 4-year old Tyler, 2-year old Cheyenne, and 6-month old Emily.

Roberts told the Herald-Leader that the bodies were being sent to the state medical examiner's office for positive identification. The children's mother, Tammie Tucker, survived the fire, but was critically burned.
