Hopkinsville Police arrested 6 Christian County residents early Monday morning after they were found in a stolen vehicle.
Reports say officers were called to the area near Canton Pike and Country Club Drive in response to calls about teenagers attempting to break into cars. Police stopped a silver truck suspected to be involved and inside found 6 teenagers with stolen items. Officers found that the vehicle they were stopped in was stolen and eye witnesses had seen several inside the truck attempting to break into cars in the area.
18 year old Shaquan Bush of Hopkinsville, 18 year old Tneisha Yelladay of Oak Grove, 18 year old Davante Campbell of Hopkinsville, two minors from Oak Grove and a minor from Hopkinsville were all taken into custody. All were charged with receiving stolen property. Bush, Yelladay, and Campbell were charged with unlawful transactions with minors. Bush was additionally charged with identity theft and Campbell and one of the minors were charged with fraudulent use of a credit card.
