Former Cadiz Mayor Passes Away

The Cadiz-Trigg County community is mourning the loss of former Cadiz Mayor, and well-known businessman, W. J. Hopson, who passed away Wednesday night. Hopson served as Mayor from 1966 until 1985. He was also a partner in the Cadiz Insurance Agency with Gary Nichols. Cadiz Mayor Lyn Bailey, who served on City Council when Hopson was Mayor, says he will certainly be missed.

Bailey says he was pleased to see the Cadiz Rotary Club's Kickoff Breakfast named in honor of W J Hopson.
