One Injured In Mall Parking Lot Accident

One person was transported following a two vehicle accident in the parking lot of Bradford Square Mall Wednesday afternoon. Hopkinsville Police say 84-year old Douglas Kirkman, of Hopkinsville, was backing out of a parking spot, near Peebles, when he backed into the path of a vehicle driven by 49-year old Debra Quarles, of Hopkinsville. Quarles was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of neck pain following the accident, which occurred around 4:00pm.
