New Trigg County Judge Executive Sworn In

Trigg County is now officially under new leadership, after Hollis Alexander took the oath of Judge Executive Wednesday morning at the Trigg County Justice Center. Circuit Judge C.A. "Woody" Woodall, who swore Alexander in, says he knows the new Judge Executive will continue to serve the county.

Judge Alexander says he has been honored by all the support so far.

He adds he knows it will be a learning experience, but he's ready.

The former Police Chief says he has already talked with Stan Humphries about any help he might be able to offer.

Judge Executive Alexander will waste no time in getting to work, as shortly after being sworn in, he was attending his first meeting. Cadiz Mayor Lyn Bailey and Interim Police Chief Duncan Wiggins were among those in attendance for the swearing in ceremony.
