Keith Todd with the Transportation Cabinet says despite the snowfall over the last 12 hours, the roads are better than expected.
Todd says the southern Pennyrile faired better than areas to the north and west.
Though roads are better than expected, Todd says drivers still need to be aware and careful when venturing out today.
While snow showers are expected to diminish during the afternoon, temperatures will drop tonight making driving conditions more hazardous.
