The Ready Kentucky Program is partnering with the Kentucky Chamber, local school districts and corporate citizens to help students attain a better quality education.
Project Manager Robyn Oatley with the Pritchard Committee for Academic Excellence told the Cadiz Rotary Club Kentucky is leading the way thanks to the Senate Bill One and the adoption of common core standards.
Oatley says the benefit of the new standards and the focus of the Ready Kentucky Program is preparing students for the work world.
Oatley was accompanied by Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Dave Adkinson and state Chamber Education lobbyist Betsy Dexter.
