Hopkinsville Man Runs From Police

Hopkinsville Police chased down and arrested a local man after he was found rummaging through a car.

Reports say officers saw 25 year old Nathan Cowen rummaging through a car in the 2800 block of Kenwood Drive. When officers made themselves known Cowen reportedly ran from the scene. He was captured a short while later and officers say he was obviously drunk. In addition to being charged with fleeing/evading and alcohol intoxication, Cowen was charged with violation of a Court Ordered Release in which he was not allowed to drink or have negative contact with police.
