Officials say a home on Nancy Avenue, in Trigg County, was a complete loss despite the efforts of two volunteer fire departments.
The Trigg-Lyon Fire Department was dispatched to 309 Nancy Avenue near Rockcastle around 7:35 Monday night. The East Golden Pond Volunteer Fire Department was called in later on to assist.
The Trigg County Red Cross was also called to assist the family of five who lived at the home. No additional details are available as of this time. The Trigg-Lyon Fire Department was in the middle of its Christmas dinner when the call came in.
