Westerfield To Chair Judiciary Committee

Newly elected 3rd District State Senator Whitney Westerfield has been selected to a leadership position in the State Senate. Senate Republicans have been meeting in Frankfort this week to determine who would serve in various committee chairmanships.

Among those selected to a leadership position was Westerfield, who was tabbed to chair the Senate Judiciary Committee. Also picked for a chairmanship was independent Senator Bob Leeper, of Paducah, who was selected to remain chairman of the Appropriations and Revenue Committee.
