Johnson Controls Announces Lousiville Layoffs



Johnson Controls appears to be shutting down its plastics manufacturing facility in Louisville. According to a mass-layoff notice filed Friday with the state, the company plans to lay off up to 392 workers the plant, which is located at 8161 National Turnpike.

Reports indicate the number of planned layoffs appears to cover the entire workforce of the facility. With the notice being filed Friday, the layoffs could occur as soon as early February.
