Hopkinsville Woman Hits Police Cars With Fists



A Hopkinsville woman is accused of assaulting a police officer following an incident Thursday afternoon. According to the report, 32-year old Georgiain Washington was observed by Hopkinsville Police striking a police vehicle with her fists at West 7th Street and Bethel Street.

When police made contact with Washington, she allegedly became very aggressive and disorderly, struck another police car with her fists, and attempted to strike a police officer in the face. She was arrested on charges of 3rd Degree Assault and 2nd Degree Disorderly Conduct. The incident took place around 4:00pm Thursday.
