Officials Announce New Economic Organization

In a continued effort to support the area through regionalism, Christian County and Todd County have come together to form the South Western Kentucky Economic Development Council. Executive Director of the newly formed Council, Mitch Robinson says they made this move because county lines aren't important to incoming industry.

South Western Kentucky EDC Chair Eston Glover says he is excited that the two counties can come together to work for the benefit of both.

Glover says the Todd County Industrial Foundation will continue to work similar to Christian County's.

Judge Executives Darryl Greenfield and Steve Tribble, Todd County Industrial Foundation President Todd Mansfield, PADD Director Chris Sutton, as well as other community leaders were on hand Friday morning for the signing of the agreement.
