Christian County Festival Of Trees



The Sinking Fork Elementary School Christmas tree will hold top honors during the 2012 Christian County Cares 20-15 Festival of Trees. The third annual event kicked off Thursday night, during a Chamber After Hours, at the A. W. Watts Senior Citizens Center. The Sinking Fork Tree, that has a Wizard of Oz theme, was named Best In Show. Midwest America won the Most Orignal Decoration Award, and the Hopkinsville Middle School tree won the Most Original Theme.

Christian County Cares 2015 Director Yasamin Ausinbaugh says the trees will remain on display through two weekends.


   
The Festival of Trees Chamber After Hours was sponsored by DJ's Flooring, with Daniel Conner saying he is glad to help a worthy cause.
