The Hopkinsville Christian County Imagination Library kicks off next week sending books to the children of Christian County.
The Public Library will hold a kick off celebration for the Imagination Library next Thursday at Christian County Head Start on Glass Avenue. The Kick Off also starts their registration drive and initially the library's goal is to reach 30% or 2000 children in the first year. The goal of the program is to register every child in the county from 0 to 5 years old. Children registered will receive free, specially selected, high quality, age appropriate book each month addressed to them. Registration brochures will be available at Crofton Pharmacy, Boys & Girls Club, YMCA and the Head Start agency in Hopkinsville. Brochures will be more widely available in more locations in the near future. The public is invited to attend the Kick Off and register their children Thursday December 13th at 9am at Christian County Head Start.
