UPDATE - Police Investigating Cash Express Robbery

Hopkinsville Police have released more details concerning Tuesday morning's robbery at Cash Express, on Fort Campbell Boulevard. In the report released Tuesday night, police say Casietta Maypray, an employee at Cash Express, told officers that two unknown black men entered the business and began dragging her and Amanda Huddleston around by their hair. The suspects took Maypray's wallet, and a set of keys to the safe from Huddleston. The suspects then opened the safe, took an undetermined amount of money, and fled the scene.

In the immediate aftermath of the robbery Tuesday morning, the News Edge spoke to Sgt. Kyle Spurlin on the scene.

Spurlin said they were not sure whether or not the suspects were armed.

No one was injured in the robbery, which occurred around 9:45am Tuesday.
