One Injured In Tuesday Afternoon Accident

A Hopkins County man is recovering after an accident Tuesday afternoon on Dawson Springs Road, just north of Pennyrile State Park. State Police Trooper Luis Palmer told the News Edge, on the scene, that Paul Brown, of Earlington, was headed towards Hopkinsville, when he had car trouble, around the 31-mile marker.

The car came to rest facing northbound in a ditch, on the northbound side of the roadway. Palmer says Brown was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center after complaining of pain in his chest from the impact.
