Kentucky State Police say an Eddyville man was killed and another man injured in a single vehicle accident in Lyon County Friday night.
Reports say around 10pm, 33 year old Jesse Bealmear was traveling south on KY-93 heading toward Lamasco. For unknown reasons Bealmear lost control of the vehicle. The truck left the right side of the road and traveled about 700 feet before hitting a tree. Bealmear was seriously injured and taken to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville by helicopter. 37 year old James Campbell a passenger in the vehicle was pronounced dead on the scene by the Lyon County Coroner. Officials say alcohol is considered to be a contributing factor in the accident.
