State Police are investigating the death of a Lyon County child Friday afternoon. According to the report, 2-year old Charles Bobinsky IV, of Eddyville, was riding with his grandfather, 52-year old Charles Bobinsky, also of Eddyville, on a skid steer loader, when the child fell and received a massive head injury.
The child was transported by private vehicle to Caldwell Medical Center, where he died in the Emergency Room due to his injuries. The accident occurred around 12:35pm Friday.
