Two people were injured Sunday morning in a two vehicle accident in downtown Hopkinsville. Police say 34-year old Terrence Tucker, of Florida, was eastbound on East 7th Street, when his vehicle struck a vehicle being driven southbound on South Main Street by 21-year old Lashonda Moore, of Hopkinsville. Both vehicles came to rest in the left hand lane of South Main Street.
Tucker told police that the light was yellow at the time he tried to pass through the intersection. Moore, and a passenger in the Tucker vehicle, 33-year old Ashlie Tucker, of Florida, were transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center following the accident, which occurred around 10:00am Sunday.
