Committee Coming To Fort Campbell

The General Assembly's Interim Joint Committee on Judiciary will be traveling to Fort Campbell on Monday. 8th District State Representative John Tilley, who is the committee co-chairman, made the announcement Friday saying that bringing a key committee representing both the House and Senate closer to the community is important.

Those scheduled to attend include Eric Sherman, who serves as state liaison for the southeast region with the U.S. Dept. of Defense; Kentucky Supreme Court Chief Justice John Minton and Justice Will Scott, who chairs the Veterans Subcommittee of the Kentucky Access to Justice Commission; Jefferson County District Court Judge David Holton and Connie Neal, both of whom are involved with a pilot project known as Veterans Treatment Court; and Colonel David Thompson, who is director of the Kentucky Commission on Military Affairs.

The meeting will begin at 10:00am at the Fort Campbell Family Resource Center.
