No Timetable Set For New Trigg Judge Appointment

First District State Senator-elect Stan Humphries says he is not sure when the process to select a new Trigg County Judge Executive will begin. Humphries says work is already underway to submit names of possible successors to Governor Steve Beshear, who will appoint a new Judge Executive.

Humphries adds the recommendation will likely come from the local democratic executive committee.

Humphries says he has spoken with Governor Steve Beshear since he defeated democrat Carroll Hubbard in the First District State Senate race.

Humphries replaces two-term Senator Ken Winters, who is stepping down at the end of the year.
