Crofton Man Injured Wednesday Afternoon



A Christian County man was injured Wednesday afternoon in a two vehicle accident on South Main Street. According to the report, 38-year old Will Winkler, of Crofton, was attempting to turn from East 1st Street onto Main Street, when he struck a southbound vehicle driven by 41-year old Daryl Northington, of Hopkinsville.

Winkler, along with witnesses said that the light on Main was red and that Northington ran the red light, while Northington claimed the light was yellow at the time the accident occurred. Winkler was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of neck and head pain.
