Arrests Made In Montgomery County Shooting

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department says five people have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of two people at a Halloween party early Saturday morning. 18-year old Shakar Donte Drones, of Clarksville, is charged with two counts of Criminal Homicide. 18-year old Harold Mosquera, 22-year old Syonee Moore, 21-year old Andre Nathaniel Adams and 19-year old Courtney Nathaniel Hardiman were all arrested for being accessories after the incident.

Officials with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department say the incident took place at a party off High Point Road near the Cumberland River.

The victims in the case have been identified as 20-year old Jecarvin Brown and 21-year old Jason Lee Rose. Investigators say the Drones and Brown were fighting when the suspect shot Brown. Rose was shot as he ran over to try and help Brown.

Investigators point out that at least 500 people were at the party, when witnesses say things quickly got out of control. Authorities say witnesses reported seeing a suspect shoot Brown and Rose, and then get into vehicle with several other men and flee the scene.

Officers stopped a car that resembled the witness description of the suspect's vehicle and found two guns inside, one being the same make and type as the shell casings found at the scene. The shooting took place just before 2am Saturday morning.
