The exhibition weaves stories, artifacts and visual components together to give visitors a look at such traditions as old-time string music, storytelling, Chinese dancing, square dance calling, basket making and thumb-picking guitar styles.
A free concert featuring master guitarist Eddie Pennington, a National Heritage Fellowship recipient, and his apprentice, Alonzo Pennington, will be held in conjunction with the exhibition from 5pm until 7pm, November 2nd, at the museum.
